Job Description – Mac / iOS Service Technician – Full Time
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Provide computer repair, virus removal or other cleanup services.
- Provide remote support or onsite support to residential customers.
- Field incoming service calls.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Apple computer and iOS hardware and software.
- Perform repairs on Apple computer and iOS hardware and software.
- Initiate, document, and update our Service Repair Order (SRO) system.
- Address repairs based on a work queue system.
- Communicate with customers regularly (diagnosis, solutions, options, ready for pick-up, etc.)
- Maintain a clean work area at the end of the day.
Required Skills:
- Mac OS and iOS experience
- Responsive, attentive to detail, and able to communicate effectively
- Desire to work within a team, and the ability to work independently
- Excellent technology problem solving skills and ability to stay current on best solutions
- Already certified or desire to become certified in Mac OS, iOS and other hardware.
- Must have own transportation and be willing to work occasionally on nights and weekends
- Must be able to self-manage projects with minimal supervision
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience performing Apple service.
- Apple Certifications.
- Experience with Ethernet/Wireless networks.
- Remote and on-site support capabilities.
